Drayton Christopher Perry, age 20, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on November 5, 2025. He was born on October 21, 2005, in Columbus, Ohio, and grew up surrounded by family, laughter, and love.
A proud 2024 graduate of Massillon Washington High School, Drayton was currently pursuing his passion at Beyond Expectations Barber College in Akron, where he was training to become a professional barber. He loved cutting hair and took great pride in his work, always striving to help others look and feel their best.
Drayton's greatest joy came from spending time with his brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and cousins. He had an infectious sense of humor and a smile that could light up any room. Whether he was playing basketball, cracking jokes, or simply enjoying time with loved ones, Drayton made sure everyone around him felt valued and loved.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Kenneth and Donitta Perry; father, Duron Perry; and is survived by his loving mother, Peggy Cook (Male); his stepfather, Robert Cook; his bonus parents Steve Singleton and Rita Hungerford; grandparents Michael and Mary Male, Kathy Null, step grandparents Dave and Sherri Cook; his siblings, James Whitfield III, Tiana Whitfield, Maleeya Whitfield, Devon Perry, Daejah Perry and step brother Cade Cook; along with many cousins, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
Drayton's love was pure, his laughter unforgettable, and his presence a gift to all who knew him. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will live on forever in the hearts of those he touched.
