DREW JOHNSON Obituary

Passed away suddenly in Santa Fe County. He worked for the State of New Mexico.
He is survived by his life partner, Zoe Van Gunten; his mom, Nena Morton, and stepdad, Terry; his brother, Joseph M. Johnson; and his sister, Becky (Chris) Gibbons - both from Tennessee. He is also survived by his niece, Emily Johnson, and his nephew, Joshua I. Walton, both of Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel I. Johnson of Tennessee.
A memorial will be held on October 23, 2025, at Rivera Funeral Home from 3:00–6:00p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to South Central Bloodhound Rescue online or mailed to: 2300 S. Westgate Dr., Weslaco, TX 78596.

My heart breaks for the people who loved drew and really cared about him. He was one of the nicest guys I knew. He worked with mom for many years hes been around for alot of different occasions. We could always count on him helping out or asking what can I do. I will miss that smile and those big blue eyes. He was a real life teddy bear. Rest easy drew we will definitely miss u.
