Duane Boyer Obituary
Duane had a deep love for his family, the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked spending time playing cribbage and horseshoes and was a devoted Minnesota sports fan. He especially enjoyed retreating to the garage, where he would relax while grilling and listening to sports broadcasts.
Duane is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Helen Boyer; and his sister, Dorothy.
He is survived by his children, James, Jeffrey (Rachael), Joel (Audrey); grandsons, Caleb, Braden, and Cole; siblings, Darril Ann, Daniel, Diane, Dean, Denise Boyer and Dale (Boyer) Johnson; and Sandra Boyer the mother of his children.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, Minnesota. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
