Duane G. Flantz

Duane Glen Flantz, 82, of Lindstrom, formerly of Alexandria passed away on Saturday December 7, 2024 at his home. Duane was born June 27, 1942 to Elroy and Marjorie (Nagel) Flantz of Gaylord, Minnesota. He was the eldest of four siblings (Sandra Grochow, Wanda Windschitl and Doug Flantz)

After attending Gaylord High School, he enlisted in the Army Reserves and later deployed to Vietnam(1968-1969). Duane worked as a machinist at Graco for 41 years. He enjoyed many great years on Maple Lake with friends and family. Duane is survived by his wife Carole of 57 years, his two daughters Melissa Dahl (Tim) and Amy Von Feldt (Jeff), and his four beloved grandchildren Jacob, Morgan, Joshua, and Ashley. Memorial services have been held with interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Arrangements were under the direction and care of Grandstrand Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Lindstrom.
