Duane D. Kroska

Duane Darwin Kroska, age 53, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Pomeroy, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at his home. A private service and burial will be held for the family.
Duane was born in Lake City Hospital on July 26, 1971, to Darwin and Darlene (Behrends) Kroska. He lived and grew up in Pomeroy, graduating from Pomeroy High School in 1990. Duane lived in Spencer and worked there for many years. He later moved to Bellevue, Nebraska and married Julie DeWitt in April 2008. He lived in Bellevue for many years. In 2014, Duane and Julie moved to Titusville, Florida where they lived and worked. Duane enjoyed fishing and grilling his "Doink" burgers. His wife passed away in 2016 of cancer. Duane moved to Orlando where he lived and worked until his death.
Duane is survived by his brother, Pat (Linda) Wrede of Fort Dodge. Sisters, Rhonda Olson of Coalville; Linda (Jack) Ausborn of Ida Grove. Nieces, Tabitha (Chris) Johnson, Amy (Eric) Norman, and Jamie (Aaron) Campbell. Nephews, Scott (Melissa) Ausborn, Michael (Chasity) Olson and Brad (Danielle) Ausborn. Many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Darwin and Darlene Kroska. Sister, Joan Walters, and brothers-in-law, Dennis Walters and James J. Olson.
