Duane Thompson Obituary
Duane Edward Thompson, 51, of Chattanooga, TN passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 4, 2023. He was born in Clarksville, TN on September 6, 1972 to the late Clarence and Martha Thompson. Left to cherish his memory is his sister Michele (Joseph) Dockery, brother Roger Homes, nephew Joseph Dockery III, niece Mesha Dockery and several aunts and uncles. Duane grew up in Clarksville and graduated from Northeast High School in 1992. After the passing of his mother, he and his father moved to Chattanooga to be closer to his sister Michele. There he became part of the Orange Grove Community where his sweet gentle spirit was loved and respected by all who knew him. Duane’s family gives gratitude to all the Orange Grove Center staff that supported Duane through his 16 years in their care.
