Funeral services for Mr. Dudley Joseph Bertrand, 92, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 9, 2024 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Mike Thang’wa officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paschal Catholic Cemetery in West Monroe, LA. The visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Mr. Bertrand was a member of St. Paschal Catholic Church. He was a retired electrical engineer with Entergy, Inc. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Mrs. Mary Bertrand; Daughter and son-in-law, Keela and Abel Autin; Son and fiancee; Kyle Bertrand and Yildiz Ganzhorn ; 4 grandchildren: Matthew and wife Kara Autin, Christopher and wife Adrienne Autin, Vincent Bertrand and Alan Montroso; 2 great grandchildren; Matthew and Ava and sister, Ruby Ortamond.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Autin, Christopher Autin, Vincent Bertrand, Jim Murray, Jr., Kevin Koh, John Tom Murray. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Teague, Jim Murray, and Bennie Daigle.
Memorials may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
