What a beautifully written tribute to a wonderful man. I´ll never forget how Duncan and his kids would search for the biggest Christmas tree they could find despite his asthma. It would practically fill their entire family room with its mammoth branches and pine aroma. And then we´d head into the dining room where Velda had created the best brunch in Newark. Christmas mornings with Duncan, Velda and friends are some of my best memories of the season I can remember.
Duncan really made every day we spent with he and his family something special.

Sincere sympathy to Velda & extended family. Working alongside you both at Winterthur for years, I remember many hilarious interactions with Duncan! His hats, stories & empathy were emblematic of a very special man. Hugs, Lynn

There was never a dull moment if Duncan was around. His booming laugh, sunny smile, and good nature lives on in the memories of anyone who encountered him on life´s journey. Our condolences to Velda and family. Joanne and Frank Kollar

I worked and laughed with Duncan for many years at Winterthur. Duncan was one of a kind, and did things the Duncan way, which the guests always loved. I will miss this goofy guy.
