Dunya Abbo Obituary
Daughter of Ayad Abbo and Aida Ghazi Ketty, Sister of Mary (Adil) Shabo, Faddie (Lena) Abbo and Dena (Marino) Kasyonan. Cherished Aunt of Marcelino, Valencia, Angelo, Connor, Carson, Christiano and Mariah whom she loved deeply. A beloved cousin and friend to many.
Dunya loved life. She was always smiling and always bringing her contagious energy into every room she entered. Her laugh could lift your spirit on even the darkest days, and her presence made you feel like everything was going to be okay.
Dunya was a hard worker and faced obstacles with grit and resilience, always finding a way to move forward. Her strength inspired everyone around her.
Dunya had a heart full of love.
She made people feel seen, heard, and loved in ways they didn't even know they needed.
Her energy was magnetic, her spirit unforgettable, and her memory will live on in each of us.
Funeral Arrengements:
Church Services: Resurrection mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025. At 10 am St. George Chaldean catholic Church 45700 Dequindre Rd Shelby Township, MI 48317
Interment (Burial) Service: a committal service immediately to follow the requiem mass. White Chapel cemetery 621 W Long Lake Rd
Visitation and Prayer Vigil: Family will receive guests and accept condolences on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, 3:00 PM- 7:00 PM Sahara Restaurant and Banquet Center 2390 Metro PKwy Sterling Heights, MI 48310
