I have many fond memories of Durk at Cherry Lawn School in Darien, Connecticut in the 1960´s when we were both faculty members there. I wish I had kept track of Durk as it turns out we were both on the Navajo reservation at the same time but didn´t connect. I didn´t know this until reading his obituary this morning. We could have had some amazing times together. My deepest and most sincere condolences to Durk´s family.
