Dustin Joseph Hopkins

The world became a little less bright on 9/17/25 with the passing of Dustin J. Hopkins at the age of 31, in Harwich, MA.

Dustin's infectious laughter and undying humor brought joy to everyone around him. Dustin was compassionate, and wise beyond his years. He was a visionary entrepreneur who built a successful career in the technology industry. He was a loyal friend to many, a loving son, nephew and brother. And most of all, a wonderful husband.

Dustin's advice was sought by many, and was often told that he gave the best hugs. He was an avid chess player, which kept his mind rich and sharp. He was the founder of the "Your Move" Worcester chess club and was passionate about cultivating a safe space for players of all ages to come together and form new bonds through the camaraderie of the very game that helped shape his life; and ultimately form a lasting relationship with his devoted wife.

Dustin made every moment unforgettable, and his influence will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
