Dustin Scott Sisk, born August 14, 1994, passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 29 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC . He was a native of Rutherford County, NC. He was the son of Gregory Sisk and Dorothy Metzinger.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lacey Edwards; son, Jaylen Sisk; daughter, Laylee Sisk; sisters, Kim Bostic and her husband Clyde, Alicia Greene, Chloe Sisk; brothers, Brian Sisk, Chris Wishon and Ronnie McAbee; grandparents, Glenn and Nell Ollis, and step mother Kali Sisk. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends wo will love and miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Minnie Sisk and Bryson and Sylvia Wright; great-grandparents, Millard and Dorothy Ollis; brother, James Wishon; aunt, Sondra Holt; uncle, Jerry Sisk; step-father, Marty Metzinger; brother-in-law, Clyde Greene and other family that passed before him.
Dustin loved his family and working on cars and if anyone needed his help he was there for them. One of Dustin’s closest friends said this about him “He was an amazing brother and friend to everyone around him and the love that he had in his heart and soul for people was bigger than anyone would ever know”.
Services and memorial arrangements for Dustin are incomplete, but the family will let everyone know.
