Dusty Rae Bressie
May 8, 1997 – June 30, 2025
With deep sorrow and broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Dusty Rae Bressie on June 30, 2025, in Minot, North Dakota. Born and raised in St. Maries, Idaho, Dusty brought light, laughter, and love to all who knew her.
A proud graduate of Burdick Job Corps in Minot, Dusty went on to work as both a CNA and a bartender, roles that reflected her deep compassion and her vibrant, outgoing personality. She was a go getter, a fearless spirit, and a fiercely loyal friend who would help anyone in need without hesitation.
Dusty loved the outdoors and found joy in swimming, fishing, and exploring nature. She shared a deep bond with her beloved pitbulls and was rarely seen without her soul sister, Kayla Porter, by her side. Their connection was unbreakable.
Dusty had a playful spirit and a knack for pestering her younger brothers, Oscar and Derringer, who though they'd never admit it out loud, but loved every minute of it. She was their big sister, their protector, and their favorite pain in the neck.
She is survived by her younger brothers, Oscar and Derringer Bressie; her cherished niece, Dezzi Bressie; and many extended family members spread across the country. She is preceded in death by her older brother Dawson Bressie and sister-in-law Katelyn Bressie, with whom she is now reunited.
Services for Dusty will be held in her hometown of St. Maries, Idaho. Friends and loved ones are encouraged to visit www.thomasfamilyfuneralhome.com to sign the online guestbook and share their favorite memories or stories about Dusty.
Dusty's beautiful soul, fearless love, and wild spirit will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and boundless love.
