Mrs. Dwanna Jackson Hale, age 66, of Rockvale, TN died Friday, August 1, 2025. She was born in Davidson Co., TN and was a daughter of the late John Jackson and Vickie Moore Jackson who survives. Mrs. Hale was the widow of Bobby Hale, Sr who died on May 11, 2025. In addition to her father and her husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Jackson.

Mrs. Hale was a Certified Nurses Aide. She was a skilled crafts person who will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Above everything else, she loved spending time with her family. Her late husband, Bobby Hale, Sr. was the love of her life and she grieved his passing until the day she passed.

Survivors are her children, Shelly Underwood, Melissa Lemons and Bobby Hale, Jr. all of Rockvale, TN; her mother, Vickie Moore Jackson of Hendersonville, TN; 2 Sisters, Roberta (Roger) Williams of Hendersonville, TN and Lucretia (Larry) Abel of Minnesota; a brother, Robert Jackson; 6 grandchildren, Jonathan Waggoner, Chris Hale, Chelsea Hale, Kelsie Bowling, Ashlee Underwood and Nathan Lemons; 4 great-grandchildren, Bailee Bowling, Walker Bowling, Avery Hale and River Lemons.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 8, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home from 4PM – 8PM. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025 at 12PM from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Simpson Cemetery in Bedford County.

Pallbearers are Chris Hale, Jonathan Waggoner, B.J. Hale, Quentin Underwood, Nathan Lemons, John Bowling and “Hot Rod” Meadows.

For those who wish, donations may be made for funeral expenses.
