I came to know Dr Dwarakanath Chaddha through the activities of India Association of Greater Boston. A cheerful light-hearted gentleman Dwarakaji was a courteous person with an immense friendly character. Dwarakaji and his wife participated in our annual Ramayana recitation at the SriLakshmi Temple in a regular manner and volunteered for activities at the Temple. I met him at Harvard University a few years ago during the visit of President Kalam of India. Characteristically Dwarakaji gifted his memoir book "The Suitcase" to President Kalam who received it with appreciation. Dwarakaji was one of the founding members of the Indian immigrant community in the Greater Boston area. The community will continue to remember him with love and affection. We offer our deep condolences to his wife and family.
