Dwayne Edward Delph

Dwayne Edward Delph passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication to his family and country. Dwayne was born on the 6th day of October 1959 in Maryland to Mart D Delph and Frances M Turner.

Dwayne proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years, retiring after a distinguished military career that included service in Germany, Afghanistan, and during the Persian Gulf. His time in the military reflected his strong sense of duty, discipline, and commitment to others.

He was united in marriage to Christine Rottmann in 1988 in Frankfurt, Germany. Together they built a life centered around faith, family, and shared experiences. Dwayne was of the Baptist faith and carried his beliefs with him throughout his life.

An outdoor enthusiast, Dwayne loved spending time outside and found joy in simple pleasures. He enjoyed cooking, watching football, and gathering with family. He will be remembered as someone who appreciated the outdoors and valued time spent with those he loved.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristy Delph of Temple; his sons, Wayne Delph of Austin, Sarah Delph of Temple, and Joseph Delph of Killeen; one brother; three sisters; and three grandchildren.

Dwayne's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
