DWAYNE E. FIKAR, age 61 of North Royalton. Beloved husband of Linda Fikar (nee Zeleznik) for 35 years. Devoted father of Kevin Fikar (Paige) and Brian Fikar; cherished son of the late Elmer and Jean Fikar (nee Brabenec); dear brother of Dennis Fikar and Darlene Kent (Thomas); brother-in-law of Donna Zeleznik, Sharon Anderson (Mark), Michael Zeleznik (Tippy) and Steve Zeleznik (Barb); uncle of Alyssa, Emily, Matthew, Nicole, Sam and Julianne; great-uncle and friend of many. Passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Dwayne retired from the Parma Fire Department after 33 years of service where he served as a Paramedic, Firefighter and Fire Inspector.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be forwarded to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation-JDRF, 200 Vesey Street, 28th Floor, New York, NY 10281. Please put in the memo of your contribution In memory of Dwayne E. Fikar.
Prayer Service at the funeral home at 10:00 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 5891 Ridge Road, Parma, on Monday, October 3, 2022. Cremation by Busch Crematory. Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 RIDGE ROAD, PARMA FROM 2:00 PM-7:00 PM, SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2.
