Dwayne Charles Kline

Dwayne Charles Kline, age 54, of Fredrick, Maryland formerly of Melrose, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 at his home in Maryland. Dwayne was born on March 22, 1957 in Joliet, Illinois, to Gene Kline and Wilma (Smith) Stites. He attended school in Charles City and in Albia; Dwayne graduated from Albia High School Class of 1976. After high school Dwayne served his country in the United States Air Force. Dwayne worked at Chamberlain Manufacturing, was a truck driver, worked construction, and cooked in a restaurant in Fredrick. He enjoyed being outdoors; Hunting, fishing, walking in the woods, and cooking Dwayne always said he made the best chili, and steak you’ll ever eat. Dwayne is survived by his special friend Lynda Neville, his children, Brandy (Nick) Rowland of Russell, Luke and Amber Kline both of Chariton; two grandchildren, Colby and Nicole Rowland; his parents, Wilma (Junior) Stites of Charles City and Gene (Helen) Kline of Melrose. Dwayne is also survived by three brothers, Allen (Leonna) Kline of Calumas, IA, Dale (Mable) Kline of Knoxville, and Steve Kline of Paulina, IA, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M, Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Tharp-Winfield Funeral Home with Rev. Neil Montz officiating. Visitation for Dwayne will be held also on Friday from 12:00 P.M. until service time with the family present.
