Rev. Dr. Snell performed our wedding ceremony 47 years ago, on January 22, 1971. We came to know him well through campus ministries at Northern State University. We learned of his death through the NSU newsletter, and found this obituary online. We regret that we did not reconnect with him through the years, especially after learning that he was living here in South Dakota most of that time. He was such a positive influence in both our lives that we wanted to send our belated condolences to his family. You have lost someone very special.

So sorry we cannot attend the service. After a day of blizzard weather and a day of digging out, it is time to return to work. I am so thankful for the time I had at SBA with Dwayne. He was always thoughtful, kind, and wise in the ways of God. Looking forward to seeing him again!
