Dwayne Wilcox Obituary
Buster possessed an infectious personality. He never met a stranger and always had a smile and a joke. His love for his family was strong and had no bounds.
He found his true love, Shawna, 3 years ago, and after one month of dating, he married her. He supported and pushed his daughters to do great things, and that love carried over to his friends. His passion for team roping was profound and apparent throughout his life.
He created and carried a legacy that most dream of. A legacy of love, caring, passion and honesty. He will forever be in our hearts and never forgotten!
Buster is preceded in death by his grandparents and his uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Shawna Wilcox: mother, Susie Wilcox; father, Jerry Wilcox; daughters, Tristin and Ashlynn Wilcox; uncle, Rodney Wilcox; aunt, Susan Wilcox; sister, Amanda (Joseph) Saavedra; and brother, Randall Wilcox.
A celebration of life will take place on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at L 2B Rocking arena, 82 Jensen Lane Belen, New Mexico 87002.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Cow Palace in Grants, New Mexico.
Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, where an online guest register is available at www.noblin.com
