Dwight Powell Obituary
Dwight was a machinist by profession. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and hunting for rocks and arrowheads.
Mr. Dwight Leroy Powell is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rebecca Powell, and by his beloved daughter, DeAnna Powell. He is survived by his children, Duane Powell and wife Sherri, Dennis Powell, Shelby Sullivan and wife Jennifer, Joseph Powell and Zengsi Chen, Violet Gibbons and husband Brendan; 28 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Douglas Powell and wife Barbara, Donald Powell, and Dale Powell and wife Joyce.
Services for Mr. Dwight Leroy Powell will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Beasley-Wood Chapel in Mena, Arkansas. Pastor Keith Hamrick will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Beasley-Wood Chapel. Interment will take place at the Gann Cemetery in Potter, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Dakota Sullivan, Kaleb Sullivan, James Gibbons, Adam McDaniel, Coltn Powell, and Dennis Powell. Honorary pallbearers are Neil Taylor, Roger Judkins, and Hershel Henry.
