Dwight Jeffrey “Jeff” Robertson entered his Heavenly home on Monday, June 10, 2024, in Jackson. MS. He was 58 years old. The family will receive friends and extended family for visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, and again from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Thursday June 13, 2024, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. The funeral service will begin at 2:30.
Jeff was born on January 5, 1966, to Dave Robertson and Kaye Legg Robertson in Jackson, MS. He married the love of his life, Melanie, on May 3, 1986. They had 38 wonderful years together. Jeff loved the Lord. He loved his family dearly and loved spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. To them he was known as “Papaw”. Jeff enjoyed grilling, woodworking, travelling, and cheering for the Atlanta Braves. He coached baseball at Levell Woods for many years and enjoyed investing his time into young people. He also loved his job and his work family in Texas. Jeff’s favorite past times were building Christmas decorations for his yard, riding in his Jeep and attending his grandkids sporting events.
Jeff is preceded in death by his mother, Kaye Robertson and brother, Keith Robertson. He is survived by his wife, Melanie Robertson of Brandon, MS; father, Dave Robertson (Joan) of Ellisville, MS; daughters, Chelsey Andries (Thomas) of Brandon, MS and Chasity Robertson of Brandon, MS; sister, Sonia McGowan of Florence, MS; stepsister, Melissa Uldrick (Mark) of Ellisville, MS; and grandchildren, Tatum Andries and Beckham Andries and a host of other family that he adored.
