Dwyte Hutchinson

Born in Stockton, California, to Reverend Louis and Alene Hutchinson, Dwyte Hutchinson spent his childhood in Fairbanks, Alaska, raised in the saving knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the First Church of God in Christ. He graduated from Lathrop High School and attended the UAF Community College in Fairbanks, and after settled in Anchorage, Alaska building friendships and values that shaped his life's path.
Throughout his life, Dwyte served in many occupational capacities. He worked as a Pipeline Laborer for the Federal Government Trans-Alaska Pipeline, a Ft. Wainwright Utility Operator, and later as a Social Services Worker for the State of Alaska, and as a Crisis Worker for the Alaska Crisis Line. Guided by determination and an entrepreneurial drive, he also owned and operated his own landscaping and janitorial businesses, serving his community with dedication and pride.
Guided by a deep love for God, Dwyte devoted his later years to fellowshipping and serving as a Deacon at Victory Temple Church of God in Christ in Visalia, California. His unwavering faith, compassion, and heartfelt testimony touched the lives of those he encountered and beyond.
Dwyte enjoyed life, meeting people, and connecting with his friends and family across the miles. He loved talking about the Bible, mentoring young men, listening to jazz, loved documentaries, reading the newspaper, tracking the weather, talking with family and friends on the telephone and by video messaging, BBQing and cooking, watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys football team, and collecting family pictures-treasuring both the stories and the memories they held.
Dwyte is survived by his younger brother, Derwin Hutchinson, and his wife, Josephine Hutchinson; his niece, Alene Hutchinson; and his former wife, Deborah Templeton, with whom he shared his daughters, Alexia Hutchinson and Angeline "Angel" Robinson, and son-in-law, Todd Robinson, and his cherished granddaughter, Zion Robinson. In addition, he leaves behind loving aunts and uncles, a host of cousins, and godchildren.
He will be remembered for his joyous spirit, lively conversations, larger-than-life laugh, and the love he shared with family and all who knew him.
