Dyanna Leavelle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory - West Odessa on Jan. 18, 2024.
In loving memory of Dyanna, a woman of unparalleled spirit and versatility. Dyanna fearlessly embraced a multitude of professions, including welding, beautician work, painting, roofing, bartending, waitressing, thrift store ownership, and seamstress skills. Yet, among her many roles, her proudest job was being a commercial artist and a nurturing Nanny to her beloved family.
Dyanna's passion for life extended to her love for fishing. She was often found on a boat, joyfully wetting her hook whenever she could. Her green thumb was evident in the beautifully tended flowers she cultivated with care. Dyanna was the "Home Base" for her family, a place where everyone naturally gathered. As a Den Mother for Jimy in Boy Scouts, she shared her guidance, and as a corrupter of her granddaughters, she played the mischievous partner in crime, usually taking on the role of instigator.
Dyanna'a absence will be deeply felt by her family and friends. Her vibrant personality, unwavering support, and the countless memories of shared adventures will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her son; Jimy Hinton (Tami Clayton); daughter, Kelly Hensley (Cole Hardwick); grandchildren, Brandi Smith (Shawn Epperson), Shayna (Jonathan) Salazar, Dylan (Hollyn) Hensley, Brittany Clayton, Travis (Makayla) Cooper, Bridgitt (Blayne) Allen; great grandchildren, Harley Mingus, Kade Sadberry, Athyn and Kamdyn Salazar, Stevie Hensley, Lucille and Wayne Allen, Cherise and Allton Cooper.
Dyanna is preceded in death by her parents, Lyle E. Meadows and Helen Lenore (Smith) Meadows; Ron Leavelle and her brother Dale Meadows.
Memorial services will be held at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 10:00 am.
Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West and condolences may be sent to the family online at acreswestfuneral.com.
