Our precious Dylan Thomas Klaus passed from this life and was received into heaven on Friday, September 9, 2022, at the age of 25. Born on March 26, 1997, to his loving parents, Kayla Ann McKay and William M. "Billy" Klaus Jr, he was the beloved husband of Brianna Oddo Klaus and a loving, devoted father to Kayden (4), Kysen (2), and Korbyn (11 months).
Dylan had a firm understanding of what was important – a simple life with those you love. He was a man who fiercely loved his family and friends. He was always present with a huge smile on his face that brought joy to others. Dylan knew the importance of hard work and discipline. Among the many things Dylan enjoyed, he loved spending time with his family, riding bikes with his sons, t-ball with Kayden, and working out. In his life he also came to realize the importance of his relationship with his Savior, Jesus Christ. He will be remembered and cherished by family and friends as the loyal, loving man that he was.
Dylan is survived by his wife, Brianna Oddo Klaus; sons, Kayden, Kysen, and Korbyn; parents, Kayla McKay Klaus and Billy Klaus, Jr.; father and mother-in-law, Brian and Donna Oddo; his brother: Andreux "Dreux" Savoy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kaitlyn Metzger (Joshua Metzger) Brooke Oddo and Brian Oddo Jr.; maternal grandmother, Dr. Sandra E. McKay; uncle, Charles Davidson McKay; niece, Journee Metzger.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Veronica "Ronnie" Klaus; maternal grandfather, William McKay; brothers, Hunter Cooper and Griffin Klaus; aunt, Sandra McKay and maternal great grandparents, Harold Davidson and Gladys Edwards.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the "celebration of life & memorial service" 4:00 PM, on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at World Prayer Tabernacle Church, 73202 E. Stadium Dr. Covington, LA, 70433
