Dylan Elliott Veselic
November 24, 2008 – May 8, 2025
The Veselic family mourns the heartbreaking loss of Dylan Elliott Veselic, who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 16, after an accident while playing lacrosse.
Born on November 24, 2008, Dylan was a beacon of joy, laughter, and determination. His passion for soccer and lacrosse shaped many of his days, and his dedication as a straight A student at Bay High School showed his drive for excellence. He was an active member of Key Club, looking for ways to give back to his community.
Dylan loved the simple joys in life: fishing, frisbee golf, summer adventures at Cedar Point, and sharing laughter with his closest friends and family. His ability to make people feel valued and appreciated was one of his greatest gifts.
He is survived by his parents, Eric and Karen Veselic, his siblings, Ethan, Jack, and Sydney, his grandparents, Ed and Jeannette Presley, and Bernarda (preceded in death by Anton Veselic in 2007), and his aunts and uncles, Mike (Mary) Presley, Dave (Kathy) Presley, Steve (Fiancé Karen Welsh) Presley, Alan Presley, and Tania (Bob) Zaletel; along with many cousins, friends, and teammates, who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
Though Dylan is no longer physically with us, his kindness, spirit, and unwavering friendship remain alive in the people he touched. We will honor his memory by carrying forward his warmth, his humor, and his love for life.
A visitation will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 4:30 until 8:00 pm at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 525 Dover Center Rd, Bay Village, OH 44140. A funeral mass will follow the next day, May 24, at 10:30 am at St. Raphael. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
