E. Glenn Kreider, of Manheim passed away March 12, 2026, at the age of 96. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Aldus and Leota (Coble) Kreider.
With a career that spanned over five decades, Glenn was a familiar face in the appliance industry. He dedicated 31 years as a sales associate at Robert N. Lepore Appliances, and 20 years with Brubaker, Inc. He had a passion for helping others find the perfect products.
Outside of work, Glenn contributed to the fabric of his community as a committed member of the Willow Street Jaycees and a Master Mason of the Millersville Lodge No. 476 and a Shriner. His love for the outdoors led him to join the Lanco Elk Hunting Club, where he not only found camaraderie among fellow hunters but also shared his culinary talents as a club cook.
Glenn is survived by his loving children: Candice Albring, and E. Glenn Kreider, Jr. (Lisa); his grandchildren: Angela Marley (Shawn), Gretchen Raad (Chris), John Albring (Angel) and Heather Hetrich (Jesse), 12 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren, his companion of 35 years, Esther Polkosky and his siblings: Viola Herr (Clifford), Patricia Rhoads (Sonny), Frances Gamber, Mervin Kreider (Janet) and Earla Deiter (Ronald).
In addition to his parents, Glenn is preceded in death by his 7 siblings: Janet Wissler, Aldus P. Kreider, Geneva Bleacher, Preston Kreider, Edith Miller, Nelson Kreider and Rosalie Smith.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9AM to 10AM at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. 17543 with a service to begin at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Conestoga Memorial Park.
