Throughout high school and my twenties, Sue was not only my "other mother," but also my mentor, confidante, friend, and the mom of my best friend. She taught me so many things-both practical skills I would carry with me into adulthood and, just as importantly, spirited lessons that showed me it was okay to hold onto your childhood joy throughout life.
Like I know so many others experienced, Sue had nicknames for me-different ones for different moments. It was easy to discern a bit about a forthcoming conversation depending on what she called you! She had a way of keeping things light, fun, and deeply caring, always with a creative swirl that I have tried to emulate in my own life.
Although I didn´t stay as close with Sue after leaving my position at Country Spirit, she has always remained, and will always remain, a part of my life. I find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with Glenn, as those two truly were like two peas in a pod.
My heart goes out to all who will feel the loss of this remarkable woman, but especially her family. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Lost to put words to this Memory. What a contribution to the community. The work ethic she demonstrated to youth in our community through their employment in her restaurant. My daughter and two nephews being some of those who benefited. And I certainly knew her devotion to the animal world. She was a client in my veterinary hospital for 20+ yrs. She passed that same love and adoration for pets to Wendy and Jeremy as well. She had a contagious enthusiasm for life......! Loved her so much.
