Earl Louis Carlile

Earl Louis Carlile, 86, of East Moline, died December 7, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial of cremains will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Earl was born March 27, 1921 in Moline to Louis C. and Gladys I. (Smith) Carlile. He married Eilleen Haddix in 1943 and later married Marian Jewett in June of 1959 in Davenport, IA. Marian preceded him in death on July 21, 1985. Earl was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from December 16, 1941-October 27, 1947. He worked for 14 years for the Rock Island Lines retiring in 1980. He is survived by Sons Michael Carlile East Moline Randy (Roselie) Carlile Lynn Center 10 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren Aunt Eileen Black Rock Island Cousins Patricia Cook Davenport, IA Mr. and Mrs. Richard Carlile Milan, IL He was preceded in death by his sons Jeffrey and Gary.
