Mr. Earl Joseph Doucet

Earl J. Doucet died February 23, 2008 at his home. Mr. Doucet, 82, was raised in New Orleans and lived in Harahan for the past 55 years. He is survived by his brother, Eddie A. Doucet and long time family companion, Ms. Frances Middleton. He was the beloved husband of the late Mona Doucet and father of Danna Doucet, Dane Doucet, and Diane Doucet Matthews. Grandfather of Dana Doucet Huete, Drew Doucet, Dayna Lombas, Jennifer Llamas, Stephanie Doucet, Joshua Matthews, Christine Doucet, Courtney Matthews, David Matthews, and Daniel Matthews, Great Grandfather of Madeline Doucet, Chase Huete and Andrew Huete. Earl Doucet was an owner / partner of Doucet Bros. Hardware, Doucet Bros. Construction & Realty and Doucet Travel. Mr. Doucet was a member of New Orleans Home Builders Association and National Board of Realtors. He was a long time member and Past President of Colonial Golf & Country Club.
