Rabbi Grollman was a wonderful friend to my parents, Andrew and Cecile Frank, during a difficult time in 1953 following the loss of an infant son, Ned Robert Frank, at age 2 days. Our family helped organize Beth El (or so I recall). Much to my great surprise, Rabbi Grollman remembered my parents and sent condolences following the death of my mother in 2009! He was truly a Mensch.
