There are no words to express my feelings right now. Bro. Earl was my pastor for 48 years and I always took for granted that he would be here long after I was gone. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and his church family at this most difficult time.

With sincerest of condolences to the family, they were like a family to my brother Bill, sister Sylvia and me, Frankie was like a mother to me after I lost my mother. Rest in peace Earl, you're one of God's angels now.

Our prayers are with this precious family; we love you. My family and I are blessed to have known this wonderful, Godly Man. His God given ability to show unconditional love and compassion to all was truly one of his most valuable attributes. In reflecting over the years since childhood that I have known "The Preacher" and Mrs. Gwen I realize that I continue to recall the lessons that I learned from them; they will forever be a part of me. My husband and I still refer back to our marriage counseling sessions with Preacher Hendrix nearly 35 years ago and I have spoken to others who have said the same. May God help each of us who were touched by this man take what he taught us and strive to have the faith and commitment to our Lord and our Fellow Man that he showed. Our loss is truly Heaven's Gain! You will be missed but NEVER Forgotten!

Rev Earl was a friend in many ways, he helped me through many difficulties, one of his passions was to help you do the right thing..

Prayers to his family and friends. Pastor Hendrix was a long time family friend of my parents. He married me and my husband in 94 in his beautiful church. I can remember him telling me the story of how my father led him to christ. He preached my mothers funeral in 2012.

Preacher Earl was loved by all. He loved all the children that have grown up in the daycare and school. He and Gwen touched so many in our community and everywhere. They were involved in every aspect of Inman. My family is so blessed to have known and loved him.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Bro Hendrix - he has left a great legacy of serving Christ! May the Lord raise up others that will serve faithfully in the example he has left!

What a privilege to serve alongside this man! Wise, kind, with a "merry heart". Blessed with many great virtues. His close friend Bob King served for many years with us on the board at Southeastern FWB College. Their jovial "sparring" was unique to those who watched and listened with delight. Bro. Earl was a gifted preacher and always spoke with authority. The noble work of he and his dear wife Gwen is immeasurable.
Always had a warm and friendly spirit . Thank God for gifting us with this dear Preacher!!

Praying for the family. Bro. Earl spent some precious time together over the years. He has preached for me and I for him. We has some wonderful fellowship traveling together in the Lord's work in years gone. I am so glad our paths crossed. May God bless the entire family and the people of First Free Will Baptist Church

Great Man, Great Loss!!

Brother Earl was one of the finest men that I have ever known.....to know him was to love him. It would take a long time to write a book about him and Sister Gwen regarding their success in making the Inman First Freewill Baptist Church to the great church it is today.
