Earl McKenzie Obituary Earl James McKenzie of
Warsaw, Indiana passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the age of 80.
He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, born on February 2, 1945, in
Warsaw, Indiana. Born into a large family of siblings to Maude (Miller) McKenzie and Joseph McKenzie. He graduated from Claypool High School in 1963. On September 7, 1985, he married Denitriss Manns, and they were blessed with 39 years of marriage before Earl passed away.
Earl worked for Penguin Point as a District Manager for 25 years, and one of his favorite perks was the unlimited Diet Coke. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears and Nascar on Sunday afternoons. He was always hoping for another Super Bowl win. Earl enjoyed working in the yard on warm summer days and was known for his ability to paint just about anything. Most of all, Earl loved his family. He adored his kids and grandkids and never failed to mention that he was proud of them. He was caring, warm and he loved to make people laugh and always had a kind word or a smile to share. He will be dearly missed, and he was loved by so many.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Denitriss "Dee" McKenzie (
Warsaw, IN); daughter, Sarah (Chris) Stinfer (
Warsaw, IN); twin sons, James (Adelin) McKenzie (Akron, IN) and Joseph (Mary) McKenzie (Wabash, IN); and Joshua (Brooklyn) McKenzie (Syracuse, IN). Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, Tyler (Kylee), Megan, Madison, Azaria, Isis, Bradley, Ellen, Brayden, Bennett, Connor, Kaiden, Parker and Rylee, and one great-grandchild, Watson. He leaves behind his brother, Larry (Sandi) McKenzie (Overland Park, KS); and three sisters, Ethel (Larry) Stone (Argos, IN); Erma Brandon (
Warsaw, IN); and Edith (Terry) West (
Warsaw, IN). He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, William, Charles and Jack McKenzie; and three sisters, Omie Curtis, Vada Whitaker, and Opal Bradley.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Earl's life with a service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Living Hope Ministries, 595 E. 350 N.,
Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Hedgel Perry. There will be visitation prior to the service from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the church. Arrangements were entrusted with Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road,
Warsaw, Indiana.
