A graveside service for Earl Meadows, 75, of Grandview, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 23, 2025, at Live Oak Cemetery in Blum, Texas,
Earl Meadows passed away May 15, 2025 in Grandview. He was born September 1, 1949, in Chico, California, Earl is remembered as a devoted family man whose love for his children and grandchildren was boundless.
Earl's zest for life was evident in his passions; he found joy in bass fishing, had a deep appreciation for old cars, and was a dedicated fan of the Texas Longhorns. He possessed a remarkable sense of humor that brought laughter to those around him. Earl was also a great storyteller. He loved sharing his funny stories and memories with family and friends
As the son of an Olympic gold medalist, Earl carried with him a legacy of determination and accomplishment, which he embraced in every facet of his life. He was proud of his roots and often spoke fondly of the values imparted to him through his family.
Earl is survived by children, Holly Rattan & Jeff, Craig Meadows, & Dadra; grandchildren, Jerred Hurt & Alyssa, Colton Hurt & Hayven, Lexi McGee & Jesse, Makenzi Martin & Ethan, Haven Meadows & Dane, Mady Meadows & Zach; and great-grandchildren, Stetson, Hayzel, Finleigh, Scarlett, Laityn "Bubby", Presley, and Gracelynn.
