Obituary
Earl Raymond Roach, Sr. of Ponce de Leon, Florida, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Earl was born August 25, 1947, to Amos and Zettie Roach in Eustis, Florida. He worked as a telephone repair man for thirty-six years and through this work, God used him to touch many lives. He never met a stranger or someone he wouldn't help. He was the type of man that would give you the shirt off his back and more. Earl was a man of his word and took pride in that. He passed those morals and values on to those around him. Earl loved to hunt and fish. Anyone who knew him, knew if you need to find him during hunting season, he would be out in the woods. His biggest passion was his family and they were the most important thing to him. He loved his kids and adored his grandbabies. He was the most amazing papa the world has ever seen. He was a man of many trades and seemed to be able to do whatever needed done. Many people knew and loved him.
Earl is preceded in death by his mother and father, Zettie and Amos Roach; his younger brother, David Roach; and older brother, Amos "Wilson" Roach. Earl also has seven unborn grandbabies that went before him.
Earl is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Heidi Roach; three daughters, Kristen Roach, Megan Roach-Lindsey and her husband, Lonnie Lindsey and their seven children, Sofie, Bethany, Chandler, Jace, Julian, Piper, and Colton, his youngest daughter, Chelsea Roach and her partner, Zecky Langner, and his only son, Earl Roach, Jr, his wife, Angela Roach and their two children, Alex and Kaitlin Roach; his younger brother, Edward Roach; his sister, Debbie Conn; and older brother, Kenneth Roach. Earl leaves behind many, many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held for Earl at a later time. If you knew Earl, you are welcomed to go on his Facebook page and leave a memory or comment.
Earl, have fun hunting those deer with Jesus! You will be loved and missed dearly.
