He is the son of John Henry and Mary Esther (Ryan) Sanny.
Earl is survived by children, Rita Rilea and husband, Rick, of Stuart, Iowa, Cheryl Hamilton and husband, Dennis, of Oakland, Iowa, and Joe Sanny and wife, Mary, of Omaha, Neb.; daughter-in-law, Amanda Karin Sanny, of Oakland; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Donald Sanny and wife, Sharlene, of Lewis, Iowa; sisters, Corrine Anderson and husband, Lyle and Agnes Saint, both of Belle Vista, Ark.; and sister-in-law, Colleen Sanny, of Fremont, Neb.
Visitation with the family will be at the Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland from 2 to 4 p.m., on Sunday. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 4 p.m. Funeral services will be on Monday, at 10:30 a.m., at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Avoca. Interment will be held at the Oakland Cemetery at Oakland at 1:15 p.m.
