Earl Vick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Woody Home for Services on Nov. 15, 2023.
Earl David Vick was born on February 16, 1946, in Zebulon, North Carolina to the late June Vick and the late Roberta Wilkins.
He was educated in the North Carolina Public School System. He moved to New Jersey where he began his career as a mechanic at Public Service Gas & Electric. He was a hard worker and worked there for many years until his retirement.
Earl met the love of his life, the late Josephine Vick, and their union lovingly remained for over 42 years. Earl was a devoted and attentive husband, and he loved Ciara Kines who considered their residence as her second home.
Earl had a very generous heart and would help anyone who was in need. He was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. He also had a sense of humor. He loved to cook, especially barbecue, go fishing and enjoyed talking and spending time with family and friends.
One of the many things he and Josephine would enjoy together was taking road trips. Trips to Atlantic City, North Carolina, and Georgia to visit family were their favorite. Earl was an excellent bowler and was a member of a bowling league for many years. His ultimate passion was for cars. He loved sports cars, antique cars, race cars, and everything in between. He spent a lot of time at racetracks.
He leaves a legacy of kindness and love. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Earl departed this life on Saturday, November 11, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife: Josephine, parents: June and Roberta, and four siblings: Bernice Evans, Edward Vick, Herman Vick, and Barbara Hines.
He leaves to mourn: his brother, Herbert, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
