Mr. Earl Wright, age 83, of Lewisburg, TN died Monday, April 1, 2024. Mr Wright was  a son of the late John Henry Wright and Mattie Adelaide Chrisman Wright. Before retirement, he was the owner of Earl's Tire Shop.  He was a member of the Cornersville Baptist Church.

Earl thoroughly enjoyed showing old cars, playing Cornhole and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Troy Leverette; a grandson, Darrin Leverette; a sister, Emogene Boyce; 3 brothers, Tom Wright, Orville “Cobb’’ Wright and Leroy Wright.

 

Survived by his wife of 16 years, Wilma Leverette Wright of Lewisburg, TN; 3 daughters, Pamela Wright Brown of Lewisburg, TN; Denise Wright (David) McGowen of Murfreesboro, TN; Michelle Wright (Mike) Perryman of Chapel Hill, TN; 2 sons, Michael Shannon (Rhonda) Leverette of the Rover Community, Jonathan Daniel (Denise) Leverette of Murfreesboro, TN; a brother, Homer Wright of Unionville, TN; 11 grandchildren, Chris Brown, Ryan Jones, Connor Perryman, Cameron Perryman, Jake Leverette, Jessie Leverette, Braden Leverette, Cali Leverette, Mark Leverette, Brittany Leverette (Clint) Adams and Kyle Nowlin; 10 great-grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 10am – 1pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Funeral service will follow visitation at 1pm. Burial will follow at the Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford Co.
