Earl M. Young

Earl M. Young, 93, of Harleysville, died Friday, November 28, 2025. He was the husband of the late Mary (Souder) Young, who died November 7, 2011.

Born November 23, 1932 in Harleysville, he was a son of the late Allen and Maggie (Moyer) Young.

Mr. Young was employed with North Penn Transfer for many years. He was a charter member of Indian Valley Faith Fellowship, Harleysville, and his hobbies included camping, going to auctions, and visiting Lancaster.

Earl also enjoyed volunteering with Care & Share Thrift Shoppes and Camp Men-O-Lan.

Survivors include his children, Kenneth S. Young (Eileen) of Telford, Susan B. Curry (James) of Harleysville, Chris S. Young (Kathryn) of Harleysville, and Diane L. Young of Quakertown; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Stewart M. Young of Red Hill.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Russel; his sister, Betty; and daughter-in-law, Tammy Young.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2025 at Indian Valley Faith Fellowship, 190 Maple Avenue, Harleysville, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Zion Memorial Gardens, Telford. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
