Robin,
Our friendship goes back a long
ways. We were 10 years old when we
met; and here we are, both of us
looking forward to being grandmas
in December!!I have so many fond
memories of us growing up
together. For several years
Earlene was like a second mom to
me. "Mom Manka." She was "mom" to
so many kids back in those days.
All those weekend slumber parties
and camping trips! We had so many
laughs together. We haven't had a
chance to see each other much over
the years, but you've always been
family to me. I think of you
often. I'm so glad Patty and I
went to Mariposa to visit you and
Earlene last year. It was so nice
to laugh and reminisce again after
so many years! I will cherish that
time forever. Earlene had a
special way with people. She has
touched so many lives over the
years with her concern and kindness
and sense of humor. She was always
willing to listen and give a hug
when needed. That's why she will
be missed so much.
I know what a special
relationship/friendship you had
with your mother. You were blessed!
Love,
Karen

Our prayers and love are with you
all.
To Him who holds our destiny, we
are saddened but rejoice.

But I would not have you to be
ignorant, brethren, concerning them
which are asleep, that ye sorrow
not, even as others which have no
hope. 14For if we believe that
Jesus died and rose again, even so
them also which sleep in Jesus will
God bring with him. 15For this we
say unto you by the word of the
Lord, that we which are alive and
remain unto the coming of the Lord
shall not prevent them which are
asleep. 16For the Lord himself
shall descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of
God: and the dead in Christ shall
rise first: 17Then we which are
alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air: and so
shall we ever be with the Lord.
18Wherefore comfort one another
with these words.

She was an earth bound Angel who
