Earlene Marie Wright

Earlene Marie (Shipman) Wright, 82, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on January 16, surrounded by her loving children.

Earlene was born on November 11, 1943, in Berryville, Arkansas, to Edith and Earl Shipman. She married her husband, Kenneth Wright, on April 9, 1960, in Green Forest, Arkansas.

Together, Earlene and Kenneth raised four children: their daughter, Debbie McAlister, married to Ronnie McAlister; and three sons, Wes Wright, married to Angie Wright, Stan Wright, married to Jennifer Wright, and Steve Wright, married to Sabre Wright.

She was a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Earlene was known for her lifelong passion for flowers and gardening. She poured her heart into creating beauty in her own home and garden, and later shared that gift through her business, Rock Springs Gardens, where she spent many happy years helping others make their homes and gardens flourish. Her love of flowers reflected her nurturing spirit and her delight in bringing beauty to those around her.

Earlene was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wright; her parents, Edith and Earl Shipman; and her four brothers.

Her legacy lives on in the gardens she cultivated, the beauty she created, and the family she loved so deeply.
