Earline Zinserling

Earline Zinserling, 94, of Marcy, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Lutheran Home.

Earline was born on May 1, 1931, in Utica, the daughter of the late Earl and Vivian (Pealo) Whitney. She was a graduate of Utica Free Academy.

On December 1, 1951, Earline married Ronald J. Zinserling in Historic Old St. John's Church. They shared a blessed union of 67 years prior to his passing on April 29, 2019.

Earline was employed as a buyer with General Electric for 31years.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, affectionately known as "GG".

Earline was a devoted communicant of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Whitesboro and an active member of the Mother Marianne Cope Prayer Group. She belonged to the North Utica Senior Citizens Community Center and was proud to be an honorary member of the Utica Maennerchor for over 60 years. Later in life, she and Ronald spent their winters in Florida, where she enjoyed singing as a member of the Largo Seminole Choir.

She is survived by her daughter, Ronna (Lawrence) DelliColli, Herkimer; grandchildren, Renee (Arthur) Wilks and Andrew DelliColli; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Addyson, and Grayson; brother, Charles Whitney of Myrtle Beach; nephews, Earl (Ann) Whitney, Woodenville, WA and Rick Whitney, Shelbyville, TN.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday, December 8, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at McGrath, Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 9, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Utica.
