Earmon L. Goodman

Earmon L. Goodman was born March 14, 1943, and is the daughter of the late William and Leora Cherry. She was the middle child out of 13 brothers and sisters. In 1964 she got married to the late Staff Sergeant Edward Lee Goodman Sr. They raised two beautiful children together, and got her education in Plymouth Washington County.

She was a faithful member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in VA Beach, VA. She was in the Missionary Choir, and in the widows club. Earmon also had many seamstress jobs, she loved sewing so bad she made choir dresses for the whole young adult choir (pink). She worked at Sears and she loved working there, and also she did floral arrangements as well, she loved helping people and would do just about anything.

Earmon is preceded in death by her parents William and Leora Cherry, her husband Staff Sergeant Edward L. Goodman Sr.; her siblings, William Cherry, Theaster, Robert, Chris, Hilda, Arlander and Thomas (Bud); and her brother in law Abraham Goodman.

She leaves to cherish her memory two children Evelene G. Crowell, Edward L. Goodman, Jr.; three grandchildren, Mareus D. Goodman, Dante Crowell Jr, and Terrance Crowell; four sisters Geraldine Davenport, Mona Downing, Wilhelmina Blount, Quinterlene (Larry), one brother in law Earl Beale, and (2) sister in laws Cleo Cherry and Cora Lee Goodman, and she also has a sweet and loving Goddaughter that she loved so very much Ms. Sharnita Elliott. There is a host of Niece's and Nephew's and Great Niece's/Great Nephew's and Cousins who she dearly loved.
