CLAXTON, Earnest Jerome "Buck", Sr., departed this life on December 27, 2022, at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Claxton; and siblings Cornelius "Jack" and Valerie Claxton. He is survived by his father, Earl Rock Sr.; and brothers, Larry (Letitia), Donald and Earl Jr. He leaves behind two children, Earnest Jr. (Vanetta) and Tiffany Brown (Shelton); seven grandchildren, Asya, Gabrielle, Eden, Erin and Endia Claxton, Kennedy Dunn and Shelton Brown Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Madisyn and Elijah. Devoted friend and family include Barbara Jefferson (Bubba), Niquita and Promise Jefferson, Daylan Gee and a host of others who loved him.
Funeral services will be held on January 14, 2023 at 3 p.m. at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street,
Richmond, Va.
