ALBANY - Earnest "Bones" G. Merrill, 67, entered Eternal Life Thursday, November 13, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Albany, he was the son of Frank and Doris Foster Merrill. Dear husband of Michele R. Wickham Merrill; beloved father of Christopher Merrill (Amy) and Amanda Merrill; grandfather of Sean, Jason, Paige, Ava-Mae and Jude Merrill; brother of Robert, Joanne, Frances, Debbie, Candy and Michael Merrill and the late Diann Patterson, Alfred, Frank, Carol and Ronald Merrill; many nieces and nephews survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Earnest's family Wednesday, November 19, 2025, 12 to 2 p.m., at McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany, N.Y. 12206. Michelle, Christopher, Amanda and family: We are sorry to hear about your loss. Uncle Bones was a loving man, father and husband. His beautiful children will forever be blessed for that reason.
