Earsel Gene Pierce, 82, of Quitman Texas, returned to his heavenly home on December 10, 2021.
Earsel was born on January 15, 1939, to parents Earsel and Lena Pierce in Waco . He lived in Garland, Texas for some time before he moved to Quitman and spent the remainder of his days.
Earsel joined the United Stated Army in 1959 and served in the Koran War. He was honorably discharged in 1965. During this time Earsel married the love of his life Patricia Bernice Howard on January 14, 1961. He enjoyed league bowling, square dancing, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.
Greeting him in heaven are his parents Earsel and Lena Pierce; and Mark Anthony Pierce.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Patricia “Pat” Pierce; Rebecca Robinson (husband Rick) of Trenton, TX, Sandra Grady of Sherman, TX; sister Judy Farrar of Watauga, TX; 4 grandchildren, Zak Morris (Sara) of Mabank, TX, Amanda Grady of Florida, Emily Grady (Alex Austra) of Sherman; 6 great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Memorial Services for Earsel will be held 4:00PM Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Faith Baptist Church Quitman, Texas with Brother Mike Midkiff officiating.
