Eben Samuel Ayling, a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on August 23, 1956, in Queens, NY, to Henry and Corinne Ayling (Gornto), Eben lived a life full of love, curiosity, and an enduring zest for learning. His presence brought laughter, insight, and warmth to all who knew him.

Throughout his career as a construction manager at Texcomm, Eben was known for his integrity, generosity, and his remarkable ability to bring people together with kindness and humor.

In 2015, Eben retired and embraced a slower pace of life while continuing to nurture his many passions. He found joy in classic movies, documentaries, the History Channel, and Seinfeld. His mind was always active -he found joy in reading, researching topics that piqued his interest. Eben had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge.

Eben loved boating and found joy on the open waters. Family vacations to the British and U.S. Virgin Islands were a highlight of his life, where he created lasting memories with his wife, Anne. He also treasured two unforgettable cruises with his mother and sister, time spent sharing memories with his brothers in Puerto Rico, and a special trip with Anne to join his sister-in-law Eileen for a memorable vacation in San Antonio, Texas.

A devoted sports fan, Eben held a lifelong affection for the New York Yankees. Beyond sports, he found happiness in simple joys—good food, good company, and long, scenic road trips.

Eben is survived and deeply missed by his devoted wife, Anne Parker; his loving mother, Corinne Ayling; his brothers, Corey and Harry Ayling; his sister, Faith Fowler; his sister-in-law, Dr. Eileen Rossi Ayling; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Eben was preceded in death by his father, Henry Ayling, and his brother, Campbell Ayling, whom he now joins in eternal peace.

Although Eben is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.

His family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice that supports causes he was passionate about.
