Carl Edwin "Ed" Boling, a resident of Weleetka, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, at the age of 62. He was born December 24, 1963, in Weleetka, Oklahoma, to David and Bernice Boling.
Ed proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He spent his career working at Anchor Glass in the hot end for over 40 years. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed staying busy and took pride in his work.
On March 27, 1984, he married Patsy Voss in Clovis, New Mexico. They shared many years together building a life centered around faith, family, and simple joys.
Ed loved God and loved his church. He enjoyed riding his 1993 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, but his pride and joy was his 1998 Springer. He loved taking road trips, corn hole, camping, fishing, spending time outdoors, watching wildlife, and tinkering with cuckoo clocks and antique oil lamps. He also loved spending time with his family and his beloved dogs. He was a passionate advocate for B.A.C.A., the GMP 48 Union president for several years, and he was a diehard Tulsa Oilers fan.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Boling of the home; his beloved fur babies, Otis and Jax Boling; his sister, Debbie Brill and husband Kevin of Weleetka; his brother, Joe Boling of Weleetka; brother-in-law, Gerald Voss Jr., brother-in-law, Terry Voss, sister-in-law, Peggy Melvin and husband Greg, nieces Shauna Nelson, Jessica Voss, Rita Voss, Kristi Haskins, Nicole Walker, Amber Townsend, Brooke Garrett, and Brittany Melvin; nephews; Brad Burton, and Christian Voss; as well as a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Garald and Bernice Voss.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in God's promise of eternal life. We take peace in knowing that Ed is now resting in the arms of the Lord, made whole and at peace. Well done, good and faithful servant - a reflection of the life he lived so fully. Until we are reunited again, we hold tight to our faith, trusting that love never ends and that Ed is home.
