I went to a Harlem Globetrotter game with my Dad and Grandpa in 1969 or 70 at the DCC. I was 10 or 11. I remember them talking to Eddie Barker courtside. They were both big fans. As I grew older I became a fan of Eddie Barker as well.

I grew up in Dallas and remember Eddie Barker well. He was quite a good TV reporter.

What a blessing for us in Paris to know Eddie. The program "Talk of Paris" brought much joy to the people here, especially the elderly. It was good to meet his daughters and Jane too. Great family, my sympathy to them.
