Eddie was born on February 3, 1927 and passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Eddie was a resident of Florida at the time of passing. In 1944, at age 17, he left Jefferson High School to enlist in the Navy to serve in World War II, or as he and his buddies used to call it - "the Big One". My condolences to you Sharon & family. Thank-you for your Fathers service to this country. Remembering all the fond memories of him now will help you heal at this time.
Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell will have a memorable tribute service honoring him. My Father, is also at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Eddie will be in good company.
